A boost bonus is a temporary reward that gives you extra value on your winnings.
Once you claim a boost, you’ll have a limited time window to score your highest possible win.

This type of bonus is unique to Starcasino — just one of the reasons players love playing with us!

How does it work?

  • The boost applies a multiplier to your highest single win during the active period

  • You’ll receive an extra payout up to the maximum amount shown in the boost

Example:

You claim a 20% boost that lasts 3 hour, with a maximum of €20.
During that hour, you hit a single spin win of €100.
You’ll then receive 20% of €100 = €20 extra — because that’s the cap.

If your best win had been €50, you’d receive 20% of €50 = €10 instead.

Important conditions

  • Boosts are not available to players under 24 years old

  • Players excluded from bonus offers are not eligible for boosts — they’ve been informed accordingly

A free bet allows you to place a bet without using funds from your own balance.

How does it work?

For example, if you have a €10 free bet and place it on odds of 2.00,
your gross return would be €10 x 2.00 = €20.
However, with a free bet, the stake is not included in your payout.

So your net profit would be:
€20 - €10 = €10

Good to know

  • You’re not using money from your own balance, but you can still receive real winnings

  • Only the profit (excluding the stake) is paid out

  • Free bets may have conditions like minimum odds or an expiry date

Gambling always involves risk. Use free bets responsibly and only if it fits your playing style.

You may notice that you're not receiving bonuses — and we understand that can be disappointing. However, there’s an important reason for this.

At Starcasino, we strictly follow Dutch regulations.
According to these rules, players cannot receive bonuses after an intervention has taken place.

What is an intervention?

An intervention occurs when our system detects a change in your gambling behaviour, which may indicate a risk. In such cases, we take responsible action — which can include pausing or stopping bonus offers.

Why are bonuses restricted?

Bonuses must not be offered to players who recently received an intervention.
This is required by law and is part of responsible gaming measures.

Sometimes it’s important to take a step back — and removing bonus incentives is part of creating that space.

These rules apply to all licensed operators in the Netherlands, not just Starcasino.

When you receive a bonus at Starcasino, you may need to wager it before you can withdraw it. This is known as bonus wagering or playthrough.

What does that mean?

Wagering means you need to bet the bonus amount a certain number of times before the bonus (and any winnings from it) becomes withdrawable.

For example:
You receive a €20 bonus with a 5x wagering requirement.
That means you’ll need to place bets totaling €100 (€20 x 5) before you can withdraw the bonus or any winnings from it.

Important to know:

  • Not all games contribute equally to the wagering. For example: slot games often count 100%, but table games might count less.

  • Some bonuses come with a time limit (e.g. 7 days). Be sure to start wagering in time.

  • You can always check the exact wagering rules in the bonus terms.

⚠️ Keep it fair: using very high bets just to clear a bonus quickly can be flagged as abuse. Bonuses are meant to add fun — and should be played responsibly.
